  • There's a documentary about this on Netflix called Ripper. It's interesting at first, but as soon as they mention the curfew, the documentary turns into feminist propaganda about how evil, incompetent men forced women to stay at home. At one point it is even said that the reason serial killers exist in the first place is because "boys are taught from a young age that violence against women is perfectly fine." I had to watch that part twice, because i couldn't believe what i had just heard. I don't recommend watching it, because it is not very objective about what actually took place. Like i said; feminist drivel.

  • 17:42 A whole *life* tariff. The tariff is the amount of time someone on an indeterminate sentence (so usually life) has to wait before they have the chance to ask the parole board to release them from prison, to spend the rest of their days under intense supervision in the community. The parole board are not obliged to release those who apply if they don't think it's appropriate, and any that are released and go on to commit further offences can be returned to prison for the remainder of their lives.
